Coding with S.T.E.A.M.
The "Coding with STEAM" Crenshaw-Dorsey App Competition is a skill-based competition comprised of two competitions (App and Game) with two stages each (Design and Development). The object of this competition is to create innovative and original software applications. Open to high school students at Crenshaw and Susan Miller Dorsey Schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District, the competitions run in the 2013-2014 school year.
Digital Media Geniuses
Beginning as an intervention program at Locke High School in 2006, Developing Digital Media Geniuses has grown to become Mother Of Many’s most rewarding offering. Locke High School, located in Watts, CA was certified as Apple's first Authorized Training Center for Education within LAUSD and M.O.M. founder, Ms. Bradford was named one of 100 Apple Distinguished Educators in 2007.The program expanded to Crenshaw High School in Spring 2009. Developing Digital Media Geniuses at Crenshaw produced the first group of students to certify in Apple’s award winning software suite iLife: iPhoto, iMovie, GaragBand and iWeb in Apple’s Western region.
